Happy World Book and Copyright Day!

Today we celebrate the power of books to open minds, spark creativity, and preserve cultures. Let’s honor the authors, illustrators, and everyone who brings stories to life—and remember the importance of copyright in protecting their work. 📚 A World in Pages 🌍 A book’s not just a printed thing, It holds the hush of angels’ wings— A voice, a vision, ink and soul, A journey stitched to make us whole. In every line, an author’s light, A dream preserved, a spark of flight. Their words are woven, bold and bright, Deserving care, respect, and right. So read with wonder, share with pride, But let the creator's craft be tied To credit, love, and rightful claim— For every story holds a name. On this day, let’s lift our voice, To read, protect, and still rejoice.

Happy Earth Day

"Pages of the Earth" In quiet halls where stories sleep, Among the shelves, the echoes keep, A whisper soft, a gentle plea— “Protect the roots, the sky, the sea.” Books of nature, inked with grace, Hold Earth’s wonders in each place. From forests deep to oceans wide, Their leafy pages serve as guides. So read, reflect, then act with care, Let wisdom bloom from everywhere. In every library, let it start— A greener world, a kinder heart.
